    About

    Hi, I'm Miroslava!

    Pronouns: She/her/hers

I am a first-generation Mexican-American Full-Stack developer apprentice graduating in May of 2023. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and worked in the legal sector for four years. In 2022, I decided to pivot to the technology sector. In the last year, I gained experience working with a Chicagoland startup developing an artificial intelligence model by working closely with the data team.

Outside of work and school, I am a mentor through Chicago Scholars and a member of technology organizations such as Colorwave, Latinas in Tech, and Chi Hack Night. I intend to contribute to the growing technology ecosystem in the Windy City. Along with volunteering, I enjoy bonding with my family and playing sports outdoors.
